The Printable Homeschool Planner by Heather Bixler – Review & Giveaway

We received our copy of the planner in time to use it with our summer session in June.  I immediately began checking out all of the planner pages included in the planner and I must say that I have my favorites!

I was thrilled to find Heather’s Thematic Unit Planner that worked perfectly with the Learning Projects that we are using with the majority of our lessons!  I love how it covers all of the things I need to plan for and I even added more to my lessons because of the suggested areas listed on the planner.

However that is not the only form that I am using!  I have been able to modify the Attendance Record Keeper to use to track the hours for each subject area that we have to track in the state of Missouri.  I really liked form setup for this.  It’s a lot easier for me to use than others I have seen.  Its perfect for the homeschool family that has to track hours or days!

Cover page, Art Project Planner, Attendance Record Keeper, Book Report Worksheet, Field Trip Planner, Project Planner, Science Experiment Planner, Scripture Verse Planner, Student Project Notes Worksheet, Thematic Unit Planner, and Lesson Planner.

But here is a neat feature that I have been enjoying…each Printable Homeschool Planner includes a lifetime unlimited access to a special Members Only area on her website where she continually adds new forms on a weekly- sometimes daily – basis.

I have to say that this Planner is very easy to use.  Its not your typical calendar planner.  Each form is focused on the specific needs you has in your lesson planning, record keeping, gathering ideas in addition to forms for your children to use in their lessons.  And you can print just the forms that you need and print as many or as few as you need for your own family homeschool!!!

Minimal items are needed to put together your own planner. All you need is: three ring binder, the forms provided with The Printable Homeschool Planner, a printer with ink, a three ring hole punch, and dividers (optional.)  So you can put them in the order that works best for you and mix them in with other forms you may have very easily!

They even have a place on the website to tell them what kinds of pages would be helpful for you!  And they take customer suggestions into account when creating new pages to add to the MEMBERS ONLY section!

By now you should have realized that finding ways to SAVE money on homeschooling is very important to us!  We believe that its not necessary to break the bank to disciple and homeschool your children. This Planner has a great price while still offering quality forms!
